Setting-up Networks
This chapter provides instructions on how to set up networks using the Networks Table.
7.1
Setting up a Network/Interface via the GUI
The Networks table displays a list of the interfaces defined in the gateway.
To display the Networks table:

To access the Networks table, click the
Networks
node in the
Device Manager
navigation
tree. The
Networks
table is displayed in the main window.

The following parameters are displayed:

Parameter
Description

Index number that the Device Manager automatically attaches to each
network. It is incremented by one for each new entry.
Name
The user-assigned name given to the interface.
Subnet
The IP address, subnet mask, and broadcast, of the interface.
VLAN
The VLAN tag assigned to the interface.
PKey
The partition key of the interface.
Trunk
Link Aggregation Mode of the port [Full (P1-2) or Separate LAG (P1, P2).

Network Table Right-click Menu
Right-clicking the Networks table allows you insert and remove networks, as well as set the
network default gateway, change the broadcast, and refresh the table.
