Acknowledging Events
Clearing/acknowledging an event means that you have taken the steps to correct the problem
and now wish to remove the event from the Trap Table.
Acknowledging an event is essentially clearing it. The state of the node is refreshed
accordingly. The user can also clear all events and alarms by using the
Acknowledge All
feature.
To acknowledge an event:
On the Trap Table, right-click a specific alarm and choose
Acknowledge Event
.
To acknowledge all events:
On the Trap Table, right-click a specific alarm and choose
Acknowledge All
.

Displaying Additional Data for an Event
Events are displayed in the Trap Table at the bottom of the Fabric Manager window.
To view more details pertaining to a specific event:
Step 1
In the Trap Table, right-click the specific event for which you would like to get information. A
menu is displayed, as shown below.

From the right-click menu, select
View Event
(or double-click the event). The Event Data
window is displayed.
