1. As soon as a switch is plugged in, make sure that the green power LEDs on the PSUs are on.
2. Check the Status LEDs on all of the management modules and confirm that all of the LEDs
show status lights consistent with normal operation.
3. Check that none of the ATTN status LEDs on the spines are yellow.
4. Go around to the other side of the switch chassis and check the leaf board status LEDs.
Warning: Any yellow or red status LEDs on any of the management modules is
cause for concern and must be dealt with immediately.
CAUTION
Risk of electric shock and energy
hazard.
The PSUs are all independent.
Disconnect all power supplies to
ensure a powered down state
inside of the switch platform.
