2.2.4 Management Module LED Indicators
The switch system requires at least one management module.The management module has three
interfaces to connect to the MTS3610. They are:
• 1 RS232 “CONSOLE” connector
• 1 USB port
• 1 Ethernet “MGT”connector
There is also a Reset/Restore button. This button resets all of the leafs in the chassis by bringing
them down and powering them up when the button is pushed. When the button is held down for 15
seconds the chassis is reset and the factory defualt values for the configuration are implemented.

The management module LEDs display the switch system operating conditions.

STATUS Off = No Power
Green = Unit is operating well- all temp. and voltages are OK.
Yellow = System warning. Attention needed (such as overheating).
Red = System not operational (Diagnostics fail, CPU hang,
HW fail, Overheat-critical)
Blinking Yellow=Restore factory defaults in progress.

PS off = No power
Green = operational
Red = PS fault detected. User should check individual power supplies for
fault indications.

FAN SPINE off = No power to fan

Red = Fault detected (fan broken, can't reach full RPMs) Green
