Thank you for purchasing a Meliconi product.
The HP Digital Pro Meliconi wireless stereo headset system uses 2.4GHz digital wireless audio transmission tech-
nology, allowing you to hear quality stereo sound from the most common audio playback devices up to a range of 30
metres (in free field), thus giving you maximum freedom of movement. The transmitter can be connected to the TV or to
any other audio source, such as DVD and Blu-ray devices, CD players, Hi-Fi or radio systems, PCs or notebooks. The
special technology allows a reduced latency time (15ms) and makes it ideal as a TV headset or for gaming applications.
The system comes with a special Toslink optical cable, enabling use of the headphones with any of the latest devices
equipped with digital audio outputs. This unit is also compatible with traditional analogue stereo audio signals by means
of the 3.5-mm jack cable (included in the package). The headset can also be used as a passive wired headset for
maximum versatility.

Disposal of the product and batteries
The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) requires
that these appliances must not be disposed of in the normal municipal solid waste flow, but must be
collected separately in order to optimise the recovery and recycling of their component materials and
prevent potential damage to health and the environment due to the presence of potentially hazardous
substances. The crossed-out bin symbol is placed on all products as a reminder. The waste can be
taken to the appropriate collection centres, or it can be handed over free of charge to the distributor
where the equipment was purchased when purchasing a new equivalent or without the obligation of
a new purchase for equipment smaller than 25cm. Further information on the proper disposal of these
devices can be obtained from the relevant public service. The consortium disposing the product will
remove the batteries from the product.
This symbol indicates that the product contains a built-in rechargeable battery that is subject to European
Directive 2013/56/EU and therefore cannot be disposed of together with normal household waste.
The product must be taken to an appropriate separated waste collection centre or returned to the
retailer.
• Do not use this product outdoors or in damp or humid environments, and do not expose it to drops or splashes of
water.
• Do not expose the product to excessive heat sources, for example direct sunlight, fire or the like.
• The product contains a lithium battery that cannot be replaced by the user. If you need to dispose of the product, or
when it reaches the end of its life, please refer to the following section: "Disposing of the product".
• Do not install the product in an enclosed space and always make sure the surrounding area is adequately ventilated.
To allow the product to be easily disconnected from the power supply, the AC adapter the product is connected to must
always be kept in a readily accessible position.
• Before connecting, unplug the appliances from the power supply. To avoid electric shocks, do not tamper with the
product or attempt to open it. Any repair work should only be carried out by qualified technicians. If the AC adapter is
faulty, disconnect it immediately from the socket.
• For your safety, use only the original AC adapter or a suitable certified AC adapter.
• Do not wear while charging.

To avoid possible damage to hearing, do not use the headphones at high volume for prolonged periods
of time.
