9.12 Auto-Verification
The ‘Auto-Verification’ dialog can be used to verify the proper functioning and accuracy of a DC Current Generator,
using the built-in current measurement.
The dialog can be opened from the start dialog, as well as from the Main Menu.
When opened, the following dialog is displayed:
Auto-Verification can only be performed on one DC Current Generator at a time. The recommended testing
procedure is to disconnect all DC Current Generators, and use the bottom slot for testing each DC Current Generator
one by one for the BALTO Modular.
For the BALTO COMPACT 4000, there is only one slot. The indicators on the left-hand side indicate which slots are
currently connected to a DC Current Generator.
NOTE :
The slots are numbered according to the internal system configuration, and may differ from the
numbering displayed on the DC Current Generator labels.
It is strongly advised to connect the DC Current Generator to a High-speed DC Circuit Breaker to perform the test.
The trip level must be high enough to allow the full current range to be injected.
NOTE :
If no High-speed DC Circuit Breaker with a sufficiently high trip level is available, the DC Current
Generator can be connected in a closed circuit using the Power Flex-cables.
