• Use a feeder when planing short
workpieces.
• Use an extra clamp when planing thin
workpieces.
• Do not use a planer and thicknesser for
chamfering or to cut slots, or rebates etc.
• Check the functionality of the kickback
guard and the spindle at regular intervals
to ensure that the power tool remains
safe to use.
• If dust extraction and dust collection
equipment is available, this should be
connected and used correctly.
