WARNING!
The actual vibration level when using power
tools may differ from the specified maximum
value, depending on how the tool is used. It is
therefore necessary to determine which safety
precautions are required to protect the user,
based on an estimate of exposure in actual
operating conditions (taking into account all
stages of the work cycle, e.g. the time when
the tool is switched off and when it is idling, in
addition to the start-up time).

FIG. 1
USE
Intended use
The hedge trimmer is intended for cutting and
pruning hedges, bushes and ornamental plants
in private gardens.
Before use
• Inspect the work area before starting the
hedge trimmer.
• Remove stones, metal objects and other
solid objects that can be thrown up.
• When working near the ground be careful
to avoid getting sand, gravel or stones
between the blades.
• Make sure the cutting mechanism cannot
come into contact with any objects.
Fuel
1. switch off the engine by moving the engine
switch to the
0
position.
2. Unscrew the fuel cap and check the fuel level.
3. Fill with unleaded petrol mixed with oil.
Make sure the fuel is well mixed. Do not fill
the tank to the top, leave some space for
the fuel to expand. The fuel must not come
up into the filler tube.
4. Tighten the fuel cap clockwise.
Change the type of petrol if the engine knocks
at constant speed and normal load. Contact an
authorised service centre if the problem persists,
otherwise the engine can be damaged. A higher
grade of octane is recommended for continuous
work at high speed.
NOTE:
• The hedge trimmer has a 2-stroke engine,
which needs premixed fuel with petrol
and 2-stroke oil. The mixing ratio is 40:1
– 40 parts of unleaded petrol to 1 part of
two-stroke oil.
• Ensure there is good lighting when
refuelling. Avoid spilling.
• Switch off the engine and allow it to cool
for 2 minutes before refuelling.
• Only fill up with fuel in a well-ventilated
area, at a safe distance from naked
flames, equipment that can produce
