The Ventricular Rate Histogram indicates when the device has allowed the patient’s intrinsic

heart rhythm to prevail at rates lower than the Lower Rate.

7.10 Providing a slower pacing rate during periods of sleep

Some patients have difficulty sleeping when they are paced at a rate that is intended for

times when they are normally awake.

7.10.1 System solution: Sleep feature

The Sleep feature replaces the programmed Lower Rate with a slower pacing rate during

the time of day that the patient normally sleeps.
