INJECTION STEPS
1.
Install syringes and spikes.
Syringe A (Contrast) = Short spike
Syringe B (Saline) = Long spike

Fill the syringes.

FILLING THE SYRINGES
AUTO FILL
Double press the A and B buttons to Auto Fill the syringes.
To change the Auto Fill volume, press A or B once.
Then use the + or - buttons.
Press A or B again to begin Auto Fill to the adjusted volume.
MANUALLY FILL
Enable the piston controls by pressing the Enable Piston Button.
Use the Forward and Reverse Piston controls or
the Manual Knobs (shown below) to change
the amount of fluid in the syringes.
12.
START/HOLD BUTTON
Press to initiate an injection when the system is Armed.
Press to hold an injection in progress.
ABORT BUTTON
Press to terminate the injection and disarm the injector.

MANUAL KNOBS
Locked during Auto Fill or when Enable
Piston Control is activated.
Can be used to manually fill the syringes.
INJECTOR HEAD CONTROLS
These steps correspond to the Injector head only, For complete
steps see injection steps on the left.

PRIME BUTTON
Press to activate the priming function.
Button illuminates to indicate that the operator
can begin priming.

5.
I CHECKED FOR AIR CONFIRMATION BUTTON
Press to confirm that the operator has examined
the syringes and tubing for the presence of air.
Illuminates to indicate that the operator has confirmed that
the syringes and tubing have been inspected for the presence
of air. (A confirmed check for air is required to continue.)

ENABLE PISTON CONTROL BUTTON
Press to activate the forward and reverse piston controls.
Deactivates after ten seconds of inactivity.

TEST INJECT BUTTON
Press to initiate a test injection.
Blinks to indicate that the operator can perform a test injection.

9.
KVO BUTTON
Press to activate the KVO (keep vein open) feature.
Blinks to indicate that the operator can start KVO to
maintain patency of the patient connection.

ARM BUTTON
Press to arm the system after the protocol has been
locked from the control room.
