SKIP
`
During playback press the or (
SKIP)
button to skip backwards
or forwards (for DVDs: from chapter to chapter; for CDs: from title to ti-
tle).
The screen will briefly display the place on the whole disk where you cur-
rently find yourself.
Please note that on many DVDs it is not possible to pass over the ti-
tles/chapters before the actual film starts (license notes).
It is not possible to use the
REPEAT
function for DivX-CDs.
Fast forward
`
During playback press the or (
FAST)
buttons to fast forward
or backwards. The screen displays
F F
(forwards) or
F R
(backwards)
and the speed:
or press once: double speed (2x)
or press twice: four times speed (
4 x
)
or press three times: six times speed (
6 x
)
or press four times: eight times speed (
8 x
)
If you press the button five times or press
PLAY
you return to the normal
playback speed.
Slow motion - SLOW

During playback press the
SLOW
button to go backwards or forwards
in slow motion. The slow motion level appears on the screen:

once: 1/2 speed forwards (

twice: 1/4 speed forwards (

three times: 1/8 speed forwards (

to return to the normal playback speed.
Please note that the SLOW function does not work on audio CDs and
DiVX disks.
DISPLAY
During playback you can display the time elapsed and remaining on the
current disk by repeatedly pressing the display button. You will see a cor-
responding screen message each time you press the button:
DVD:
