Firmware Update Soundbar MEDION LIFE P64377 (MD 45377)
To solve the standby phenomenon of your soundbar MEDION LIFE P64377 (MD 45377), it is
necessary to update the firmware of the Soundbar. (The firmware is a programme for
controlling the soundbar). You can carry out this firmware update by yourself.
You need an empty USB stick, ideally with a storage capacity of up to 32 GB. To carry out
the firmware update, the USB stick must be fresh formatted with FAT 32.

The firmware update of the MEDION LIFE P64377 (MD 45377) Soundbar is carried out in 3
steps:
A) Download the firmware
B) Prepare the USB stick
C) Carry out the update on the Soundbar
Proceed as follows:
A) Download the firmware
1. Download the firmware update via the link above
B) Preparing the USB stick
1. Back up your data from the USB stick, if necessary, i.e. copy your files from the USB
stick to a new directory on the desktop.
2. In the file explorer (in the left directory column), right-click on the USB stick and select
“
Format
”
3. Format the stick with FAT32.
4. Open the zip folder "
fw_md45377.zip
" with a double click
5. Mark the file "
TB662DW58.ufw
" and copy it to the empty formatted USB stick.
The USB stick is now prepared
C) Carrying out the actual FW update
1. Disconnect the Soundbar from the mains.
2. Reconnect the Soundbar to the mains, the Soundbar is now in standby mode.
3. Connect the USB stick prepared under point B to the USB socket of the Soundbar.
4. Take the remote control of the Soundbar.
5. Press the buttons one after the other:

The flashing process (reprogramming) takes up to one minute.
The flashing process is completed when only one dot "

6. You can check the FW version now installed by pressing the buttons
[ Next ]

and then
[ Vol- ]
on the remote control.
The display of the Soundbar shows: "MO.17 H0.14 D1.15.0.0".
