The SONNET audio processor is available in two variants: The first variant (product code
Me1310) is an audio processor that supports electrical stimulation only, while the second
variant (product code Me1320) additionally features acoustic stimulation (amplification)
intended to be used by patients who have at least a certain degree of functional low frequency
hearing. Throughout this manual the term “SONNET

ci

” will be used when specifically referring

to the first variant, the term “SONNETeas” will be used for the second variant. “SONNET” will
be used in all other cases.
