Quick Start GSV-4GPRS
Step 1: Insert SIMCard

Enter SIMCard, chip facing downwards
Step 2: Preparations
In the next step you will need information about your simcard:
•
PIN Number
•
Internet Access Data of your GPRS Provider
•
Username and Password (if required, depends on provider)
•
SMS Center Number of your GPRS Provider
•
Serial port number of your computer (COM1 oder COM25 … )
Step 3: Enter your PIN No
•
Install the configuration jumper
•
Connect Modem with computer, using a
SUB D9 connection cable
•
Start Software simcard.exe
•
Follow the instructions
•
Remove the configuration jumper
Step 4: Test
Remove configuration jumper and serial cable.
Power on (push button for 1s)
The red LED announces a succesful connection with server.
The green LED announces network search while flashing with a frequency of 1 per
second. If green LED flashes with a frequency of 0,3 per second, it is logged in
GSM/GPRS network.
The modem needs about 60 Seconds, until it is connected with server.
