MODE 1 - PHOTO EYE OPTION
This compactor is equipped with a
photo eye sensor to automatically
activate the compactor and cycle until
the chamber is cleared.
CONTROL BOX SETTINGS:
1. Pull the EMERGENCY switch UP to
activate the compactor controls.
2. Insert key in ON/OFF key switch
and turn to “ON”.
3. On the MANUAL/AUTO switch
select “AUTO”.
4. Press the START button to arm the
compactor system. It will take
approximately
20 seconds
to
complete the arming process.
5. An amber AUTO START light will flash
when the compactor cycle is armed
and ready for automated operation.
OPERATION PROCEDURE:
6. Place the trash into the chute to
feed the compactor.
7. After the photo eye senses the
presence of trash for 5 seconds, the
compactor cycle is activated.
8. While the photo eye senses the
presence of trash, an audible alarm
will sound.
If the amber AUTO START light is
OFF, repeat steps 4 and 5 to arm the
compactor system again.
