SAFETY ALERTS
Safety notices are one of the primary ways to call your attention to potential hazards. The following safety notices
are used throughout this manual.
Read, understand and follow the safety guidelines and heed dangers and warnings listed below and contained in
this manual as well as on the Compactor itself to promote reliable operation and prevent serious personal injury.
The “signal words” of DANGER, WARNING AND CAUTION have specific meanings to alert you to the relative
level of hazard.
Take the safety warnings seriously. If you do not understand them or have questions about them, contact K-PAC
™
for assistance.
DANGER indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTICE is used to address practices not related to personal injury.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS is used to indicate general instructions relative
to safe work practices.
