Steering Wheel Buttons 

 

3.7.2.1

 

PTT (Push to Talk Radio) 

Standard Wheel 

BLUE BUTTON

 / Quick Release Wheel LEFT BUTTON 

▪

 

Press and hold to activate the microphone line within the radio system, allowing the driver to 
talk to the team 

▪

 

A third-party radio system is required 

▪

 

Make sure the button is pressed throughout the entirety of the message, and a delay is left 
between button activation and the start of the message

PIT / PLSL (Pit Lane Speed Limiter) 

Standard Wheel 

RED BUTTON 

/ Quick Release Wheel RIGHT BUTTON 

The pit lane speed limiter will limit the vehicle speed; however, it remains the driver s responsibility to 
reduce the vehicle speed below the threshold in 1

 gear before activating the limiter

.

 

NOTE: The engine must be running to activate or adjust the limiter. 

To Activate the Limiter 

▪

 

Press and release the button once. The dashboard will display the set limiter speed 

To Deactivate the Limiter 

▪

 

Press and release the button once. The set limiter speed will no longer be displayed on the 
dashboard 

To Adjust the Limiter 

▪

 

Press and hold the button until the pit limiter speed is visible on the dashboard and flashing. 
This indicates that the limiter is in calibration mode 

▪

 

With the limiter in calibration mode, each subsequent press and release of the button will 
adjust the limiter speed by 5 mph/kph, depending on the units the dashboard is currently set 
to 

▪

 

Once the desired speed is selected, press and hold the limiter button until either the limiter 
speed stops flashing, or is no longer visible on the dashboard 

▪

 

The limiter speed ranges from 20-65 mph or 40-85 kph 

 

NOTE: If the limiter is active when the engine is switched off by using the start/stop button, the 
limiter will not be active once the engine is restarted. 

NOTE: A sleep cycle must be performed to fully store a desired limiter speed.
