T here are strict environm ental law s regarding the disposal o f w aste oil and fluids. Please
dispose o f y o u r w aste carefully and w ith due regard to the environm ent.

T h erefore, i f y o u m u st ru n the engine w h ile w orkin g u n d er the h o o d , m ake certain
th at yo u rem ove a ll je w e lry (especially rin g s, b racelets, w atch es, a n d n ecklaces) a n d
a ll n eckties, sca rves, a n d sim ila r loose cloth in g before g ettin g n ear the engine o r
coolin g fa n .
E lectrical Fan a n d E ngine Inspection:
In spectin g the engine w ith the ign ition sw itch in the O N p o sitio n is dan gerou s. The
coolin g f a n cou ld com e on unexpectedly even w hen the engine is n ’t ru nn in g. You
c ou ld be seriously in ju red by the fa n . Turn the ignition sw itch o ff a n d rem ove the key
fr o m the ignition sw itch w hen y o u in sp ect the engine.
