TROUBLESHOOTING [CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM]
STEP INSPECTION
ACTION
14* Disconnect cruise actuator connector and
clutch switch connector.
Inspect continuity between terminal I (clutch
switch on/off signal) of cruise actuator
connector of the wiring harness and ground.
Is there continuity?

Yes
Repair wiring harness between cruise actuator and clutch
switch, then go to step 37.
No Go to next step.
15 Inspect clutch switch.

INSPECTION (FS)
c r 01-40B CLUTCH SWITCH
INSPECTION (KL)
Is it okay?
Yes Go to step 17.
No Replace clutch switch, then go to step 37.
16 Inspect transaxle range switch.
tr 0 5 -1 7A ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
COMPONENT (FS)
o - 0 5 -1 7B TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH
INSPECTION (KL)
Is it okay?________________________________
Yes Go to next step.
No Inspect possible cause, then go to step 37.
17* Disconnect cruise actuator connector.
Turn ignition switch to ON.
Measure voltage at terminal D (ignition on
signal) of cruise actuator connector and
terminal A of cruise actuator connector.
Is voltage 12 V?
Yes Go to step 21.
No Go to next step.

18 Measure voltage at terminal D (ignition on
signal) of cruise actuator connector of wiring
harness.
Is voltage 12 V?
Yes Go to next step.
No Repair wiring harness from TURN 10 A fuse to cruise
actuator, then go to step 37.
