COMPLETED

Verify that all disconnected
connectors reconnected.

Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.

Perform the KOEO or KOER self-
test using the M-MDS.

Is the PENDING CODE for the
DTC present?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.

Indicates the VSS input signal was intermittent. This DTC is set when a
VSS concern interferes with other OBD tests, such as the catalyst efficiency
monitor, the EVAP monitor, or the HO2S monitor.
