DTC P0460 (MZI-3.5) DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.

Start the engine and run it at idle.
z
Retrieve DTCs using the M-MDS.

Is the PENDING CODE for this
DTC present?
No
Go to the next step.

DTC P0460
Fuel level sensor circuit
DETECTION
CONDITION
z
The PCM monitors the fuel level input communications network message
for a concern. The test fails when the PCM determines that the value of the
fuel level input signal is stuck. The PCM calculates the amount of fuel used
during operation. If the fuel level input signal does not change or does not
correspond with the calculated fuel usage, the DTC is set.
