Check for poor connection (such
as damaged, pulled-out pins, and
corrosion).

Are there any malfunction?
No
Go to the next step.

INSPECT CMP SENSOR (LH)
CIRCUIT FOR OPEN CIRCUIT
z
Turn the ignition switch off.
z
Check continuity between the
following circuits:
{
CMP sensor (LH) terminal
A and PCM terminal 2AB
{
CMP sensor (LH) terminal
B and PCM terminal 2C
z
Is there continuity?
Yes
Go to the next step.
No
Repair or replace suspected part, then go
to Step 11.

Inspect CMP sensor (LH).

Is there any malfunction?
Yes
Replace CMP sensor (LH), then go to the
next step.

VERIFY TROUBLESHOOTING OF
DTC P0345 COMPLETED
z
Verify that all disconnected
connectors reconnected.
z
Turn ignition switch to the ON
position (Engine off).
z
Clear the DTC from the PCM
memory using the M-MDS.
z
Start the engine.
z
Access the MAF PID using the M-
MDS.
z
Is same DTC present?
Yes
Replace the PCM, then go to the next step.

Go to the next step.

VERIFY AFTER REPAIR
PROCEDURE

Perform the "AFTER REPAIR
