OUTLINE OF CONSTRUCTION
• The construction and operation of the face-lifted 626 (GF), 626 Station Wagon (GW) models is essentially
carried over from that of the current 626 (GF), 626 Station Wagon (GW) models except for the following
features. (See 626 Training Manual 3303-10-97D, 626 Station Wagon Workshop Manual Supplement
1603-10-97K, 626, 626 Station Wagon RF Turbo Workshop Manual Supplement 1614-10-98D respectively.)
FEATURES
Improved handling
• Steering gear mount bolt has been changed (10 mm {0.39 in}—»12 mm {0.47 in}) for improved rigidity.
Simplified power steering system
• The power steering oil pomp is a vane type equipped with a fluid reservoir, and is driven by a gear. The
operation of the power steering oil pump for RF Turbo engine models is the same as the current PREMACY
(CP).
