AUTO LIGHT SENSOR OPERATION

Caution
!
In the following cases, the auto light sensor cannot detect the illumination level correctly which
could cause an auto light malfunction:

A sticker or label is adhered to the windshield above the auto light sensor.
—
The windshield is dirty above the auto light sensor.

The auto light sensor is installed to the lens which is installed to top center area of the windshield
!
The auto light sensor is integrated with the rain sensor as a single unit.
!
The upward and forward illumination level sensors which detect the level of illumination above and in front of
the vehicle respectively are built-in.
