At a Glance - Rear Cabin

Quick reference

The rear seat displays can be tilted as de-
sired; they also can be switched ON/OFF.

Balance and Fader

Common balance setting and common
fader setting is provided for the follow-
ing operation modes:

Radio operation

SAT operation

CD operation

MP3 operation

AUX operation

DVD operation

TV operation

Individual R/L balance and fader settings
are provided for Navigation and Tele-
phone.

Balance/Fader setting for voice an-
nouncement is described under "Adjust-
ing the acoustics for voice
announcements" (

page 115).

When adjusting the balance and/or fader
settings, the system automatically stores
the settings for the actual operation
mode.

Calling up the balance/fader menu

In Radio, CD, MP3 or AUX operation
mode:

Turn the remote control’s selection
wheel to select item

Bal/Fad

and

press the selection wheel to confirm.

The Balance/Fader menu appears on
the display. Balance and fader can
now be adjusted (

page 219).
