are best ironed at low temperature.

–
First sort items by ironing temperature: syn-
thetics to synthetics, wool to wool, cotton to
cotton etc.
–
The soleplate (2) heats up faster than it
cools down. For this reason it is recom-
mended to begin ironing at low tempera-
ture (for instance, synthetic fabrics). After
that start ironing at higher temperature (silk,
wool). Cotton and linen items should be
ironed last.
–
If an item is made of mixed fabrics, set the
lowest temperature (for instance, if an item
is made of acrylic and cotton, it should be
ironed at temperature used for acrylic iron-
ing «
•
»).
–
If you cannot define the fabric’s composi-
tion, then find a part of the item which is not
noticeable when the item is being worn.
–
Empirically adjust the ironing temperature
(always start from the lowest temperature
and gradually increase it until you achieve the
desired result).
–
Corduroy and fabrics that get glossy quickly
should be ironed strictly in the direction of the
pile, lightly pressing on the unit.
–
Silk and synthetic fabrics should be ironed on
the reverse side.
–
Vertical steam is not recommended for syn-
thetic fabrics.
–
To avoid fabric melting, do not touch it with
the soleplate while steaming.
–
Use the attachments (11), (12) for cleaning
fabrics and furniture in the steam ironing or
vertical steaming mode (in this case the tem-
perature control knob (6) should be set to the
position “MAX”).
USING THE UNIT
–
When the unit is switched on, some water
drops may appear from the steam open-
ings of the soleplate (2) or some steam may
appear even if the steam supply button (9)
has not been pressed. It is normal.
–
If no steam is supplied when the button (9)
is pressed, check whether there is water in
the tank (5).
–
Press the steam supply button (9) only if the
soleplate (2) has heated up to the set tem-
perature (the soleplate heating indicator (7)
is not alight).
–
During heating, operation breaks and after
operation place the unit on a flat, heat-resis-
tant surface, using the base (1).
–
During operation hold the unit only by the
handle (8).
–
Never direct the outgoing steam on a person
or animals and never steam clothes put on a
person, because the outgoing steam tem-
perature is very high. Use a hanger.
–
Before installing or removing the attach-
ments (11), (12) unplug the unit and let it
cool down.
Installing and removing
the attachments (11), (12)
–
Match the notch on the inner side of the
attachment (11) or (12) with the ledge on the
steam brush body and press on the attach-
ment until clicking.
–
To remove the attachment, press the attach-
ment release button (10) and remove the
attachment.
Switching on
1.
Before operating the unit in steam ironing,
steaming or fabrics cleaning modes, make
sure that there is enough water in the tank
(5).
2.
Place the unit on a flat heat-resistant surface
using the base (1).
3.
Insert the power plug into the mains socket.
4.
Use the control knob (6) to set the tem-
perature of ironing depending on the type of
fabric and the operating mode (see “Ironing
temperature”), the soleplate heating indica-
tor (7) will light up.
5.
When the soleplate (2) reaches the set tem-
perature value, the indicator (7) will go out.
6.
Take the unit by the handle (8) and remove
the unit from the base (1).
Operating the unit
–
During the operation always hold the unit only
by the handle (8).
