This field can be set to two values as follows:

• 0h: (default) Mass erase of the main flash program area can be performed in the usual manner.

• 1h: The mass erase operation is locked out.

To set this field to 1h (lock out mass erase), write the value Ch to this field. This field cannot be altered if the security_lock bit has been set to 1.
