8.1 Viewing Phonebook
While viewing the Phonebook entries, you can input letter(s) or
number(s) to be brought to Contacts that start with these
letters/numbers.
After highlighting the Contact, press the Make Call button
and then select the SIM card you wish to use to dial the number.
To finish the phone call, press the End Call button
.
Press the LFK to access the Phonebook options: Preview, Send a
Text Message, Make Call, Edit, Delete, Copy, Settings.
8.2 Searching for Contacts
1. Access the Phonebook and input the name of a Contact you
wish to find; doing so will bring you directly to the list of Contacts
best matching your criteria. You can also change the text input
mode while inputting the searching criteria.
2. If you do not know exactly the name of the Contact you wish to
find,
select “Phonebook” to access the Phonebook and use
navigation keys Up/Down to scroll through the list of Contacts.
8.3 Adding New Contact
This menu allows you to add a new entry to your Phonebook.
Input the phone number in Idle mode, press the key
“Options” and
select
“Save in Phonebook” to save the number. You can select
the location either on SIM1/SIM2 card or on the phone. Press the
OK key,
and next press “Options”->”Edit” to enter the name being
currently typed.
Type the name and press “Options”->”Done”.
Press the navigation key to enter the number input bar, type/edit
the phone number and confirm. Follow the steps as if inputting the
name. When both the name and the number are correct, press
“Options” and “Save”.
