Cardiac pacemaker

Cardiac pacemaker manufacturers recommend to keep

the minimum of 15 cm distance between the mobile

phone and a pacemaker to avoid the risk of

interference with the pacemaker’s work. These

recommendations comply with the independent

Wireless Technology Research. People who have a

cardiac pacemaker should:

-

always keep the device within the minimum of 15 cm
distance from the pacemaker

-

do not keep the mobile in a chest pocket

-

keep the device by the ear, opposite the pace maker

to decrease the risk of interference.

If you suspect there is a risk of interference, turn off the

device and carry it further.
