ZONE’S CLIMATIC COMPENSATION
It is used to compensate the zones’ temperature, always with respect to the external air temperature.
By setting the coefficients m5, m6 (parameters 19, 20) to a non-zero value, the “Offset” item appears on the “Settings” -> “Zone 1”
menu.
m5 and m6 are the angular coefficients, by setting them to a non-zero value, the “Offset” item appears on the “Settings” -> “Zone 1”
menu, which describes the expected maximum variation of the water setpoint. The operation is the same as in chiller mode,
excepting that the compensation is related to the temperature detected by the air temperature sensor of the Hi-Tcontrol panel
(zone 1) or of the fan coil (zone n).
m5 = angular coefficient for the slope of the compensation in cooling mode.
m6 = angular coefficient for the slope of the compensation in heating mode.
In cooling mode, the external reference temperature is the parameter 17 (
“Settings -> Service menu -> Parameters -> Keyboard ->
Set T
ext
comp FC Cool”).
In heating mode, the reference external temperature is the parameter 18
(“Settings -> Service menu -> Parameters -> Keyboard ->
Set Text comp FC Heat”).
To exclude the climatic compensation changes by the user, the offsets must be set to be zero from the “Settings -> Zone” menu.
To exclude the climatic compensation changes by the maintenance technician, the coefficients “m” must be set to be zero from the
service menu, keyboard parameters.

OTHER FUNCTIONS
For any information related to other functions of the chillers or fan coil units that are reported in the display of Hi-T2 remote control
panel (e.g. enabling or activation of plant electrical heater, DHW integration heater, boiler integration, defrosting cycle, water-side
or air-side anti-freeze heaters, etc…), please refer to chiller and fan coil instruction manuals.

SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
From the main menu, choosing the icon additional functions, you go to the following menu:
Figure 35. "Special functions" page.
The available functions are described in the following paragraphs.
4.12.1
SCREED FUNCTION
By pressing the icon related to the screed function you open a new menu in which you can choose which chillers should be enabled
in this function:
Figure 36. Chiller multiple choice, screed function.
Once you choose the chillers which participate in this regulation, the system has the following behaviour:
•
All the chillers enabled in the screed function are forced to heating mode.
•
All the chillers not enabled in the screed function are forced to OFF mode.
