Checking the Securing Elements for Axis B

Disassembly of Covers

Disassemble the covers according to
Section 10.17, page 35.

WARNING – falling parts

Do not remove both securing
elements simultaneously to
avoid the device crashing.

Checking the Securing Elements

Pull the latch pin

①

upwards and remove

the securing element

②

•

To  relief  stress  from  the  securing  element
lift  the  spring  arm  up  or  try  moving  the
spring  arm  to  the  opposite  side  of  the
securing element.

Check, if the securing element is at least 2.1
mm tick and 24.5 mm long.

Replace the securing element in case the
minimally required dimensions are not met.

Lubricate the securing element and the matching counterpart at the spring arm spindle
through the fitting aperture with Microgleit GP 360.

Position the securing element

in a way that the latch pin

①

snaps into the positioning

hole.

The latch pin has to click audibly into place and must have the same height as the
opposite latch pin!

Repeat the whole process for the second securing element.

Installation of Covers

Install the covers according to Section 10.17, page 34.
