5. Select the Network security: LAN Manager authentication level policy option.
The Network security: LAN Manager authentication level Properties dialog box
opens.
6. On the Local Security Settings tab, select Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2
session security if negotiated option from the drop-down list box.
7. Click on the OK button to close the window.
8. Close all other open dialog boxes.
Accessing your computer from your Matrox Iris GT
To access files and folders on your computer from your Matrox Iris GT, create a
network-shared folder on your own computer. Your MIL application and the
IrisBackup utility save files to your network-shared folder, and the FullRescue
utility fetches files from your network-shared folder. For more information
regarding the IrisBackup and FullRescue utilities, refer to
Appendix H: Matrox
Iris GT utilities .
For your MIL application to access your network-shared folder, configure and save
the login credentials on the
LAN connections page, accessible from the
Administration utility page of the Matrox Iris portal website.
Telnet
Each Matrox Iris GT has a telnet server. The telnet server allows you to access the
command prompt of Matrox Iris GT remotely to manually start processes, run
batch files, run command-line utilities, and execute commands. Error messages
(for example, MIL error messages) are redirected to a telnet console, along with
printf statements from applications running remotely, over the telnet session.
