ParamSave utility
The ParamSave utility lets you save the boot or persistent registry settings. This
utility can also configure another Matrox Iris GT with a file containing this
information.
Syntax
Parameters
• Command . Specifies the command to save or read the specified boot or registry
settings.
- SAVE . Saves the settings into a specified text file. To specify the text file, use
the Filename parameter.
- READ . Reads the specified file (set using the Filename parameter) and
temporarily updates the Matrox Iris GT registry. The values are set in memory,
but not saved to the boot or permanent registry settings of your Matrox Iris GT.
Note that these settings will be lost the next time you restart the operating
system of your Matrox Iris GT.
- READF . Reads the specified file (set using the Filename parameter) and
permanently updates the Matrox Iris GT registry. The values are set in memory
and written to the boot or permanent registry settings of your Matrox Iris GT.
This assures that the settings will not be lost the next time you restart the
operating system of your Matrox Iris GT.
• Filename . Specifies the file name.
• Type . Specifies the type of settings to save. This can be set to one of the following:
- BOOT . Reads/saves boot settings.
- REG . Reads/saves registry settings.
