11.1 SOFTWARE UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS
1) The file T5x-04_970616 should be present on the USB drive. This should be renamed SRPDJMVH. .
2) Turn off the treadmill power.
3) Insert the USB drive into the REPROGRAM PORT of the T5x-04 console back cover (Figure A).
4) Turn on the treadmill power. The machine will make 3 short beep sounds and start to upgrade the software.
5) Once the upgrade is complete, the machine will make 2 long beep sounds (should take about 30 seconds).
6) Turn off the treadmill power and remove the USB drive.
7) Turn on the treadmill power, the unit should "Begin your workout" in the display window (Figure B). This means that the software upgrade
was successful.
8) Press and hold INCLINE DOWN and SPEED DOWN until Manager Mode shows on the display, then press ENTER (Figure C). Use the
INCLINE UP or INCLINE DOWN keys to scroll until SOFTWARE is on the display (Figure D), and press ENTER.
9) All of the software version information will now be displayed on the screen (Figure E).
