Least Cost Routing
SIMADO GFXD1111S supports Least Cost Routing feature which enables the SE to program the system in such a
way that the telephone costs are reduced tremendously. LCR table is the key telephone cost cutting factor. SE shall
program LCR table such that the system chooses the cheapest path to route the outgoing calls.
Depending on the dialed number or the time of the call, following types of LCR logic is supported by GFXD1111S:
• No LCR
• Time based LCR
• Number based LCR
• Mixed LCR
No LCR
When 'No LCR' is selected, GFXD1111S will follow the rotation logic to route the calls. Rotation logic can be either
ON or OFF. By default, Rotation is Off.
Rotation ON: When rotation ON is selected, first call will be routed through the Mobile Port, second call will be
routed through the FXO Port, third call will be routed through the Mobile Port, fourth call will be routed through the
FXO Port and so on.
Rotation OFF: When rotation OFF is selected, by default, all the calls will be routed through the Mobile Port, if the
Mobile Port is accessible i.e. enabled and registered. If Mobile Port is not accessible then call will be routed through
the FXO Port.
Time Based LCR
When 'Time Based LCR' is selected, the system will route the calls as per the programming done in Time Based
LCR Table. Time based LCR is used when two different service providers offers different rates during different
timings of the day.
Number Based LCR
When 'Number Based LCR' is selected, the system will route the calls as per the programming done in Number
Based LCR Table. Number based LCR is used when two different service providers offers different rates for calling
different areas/telephone numbers.
Mixed LCR
When 'Mixed Based LCR' is selected, the system will route the calls as per the programming done in Mixed Based
LCR Table. Mixed LCR is used when two or more service providers offer different rates for different areas during
different timings of the day.
