1.5.1 Installation Example

The following diagram is of a simple installation example consisting of a 32x32 SDI Video Router, with a
secondary level 32x32 Analog Audio router connected via the AFV DB-25 interface, a 32x32 Remote Button
Panel, a 2RU LCD Remote Panel and a Computer system.

1.6 External Button Control

This device comes with an external button control interface enabled by default. Unused pins on the D9 serial
connector are utilized for this purpose. The device comes factory configured for active low (ground) or active
high (+3.3/+5V) signaling. The default is active low and is the recommended configuration. Refer to the

External Button Control Pinout

reference section for details on which pins to use for this interface.
