Reinstall the lock.

The lock chassis should sit flush against the lid. If there is a gap along the red line pictured
below, there may be a slight interference between the lock chassis and the hinge leaf (circled in
red). If so, slightly radius the rear edge of the chassis with a grinder and reinstall the lock. The
lock is sitting properly in this photo.
