SET UP INSTRUCTIONS

In the kit you will find:
1 - 40460 (460 gallon per hour pump)
2 – 3/4” plastic tee
3 - 32" long piece of 3/4" clear tubing
1 – 3/4” plastic ell
1 - 9" long piece of 3/4" clear tubing
1 – hose clamp
3 - 3" long piece of 1" clear tubing
1 – tube of silicone
1. Find the 3/4” clear tubing 9“ long, the two 3/4” plastic tee and the 3/4” plastic ell. Cut one piece of the 3/4” clear tubing
2 1/2” long and cut two pieces 3” long. Attach the piece of 3/4” clear tubing 2 1/2” long to the 3/4” plastic ell. Attach the
opposite end of the 3/4” clear tubing to the middle connection of the first 3/4” plastic tee. Attach the piece of 3/4” clear
tubing 3” long to an end connection of the first 3/4” plastic tee. Attach the opposite end of the 3/4” clear tubing to an end
connection of the second 3/4” plastic tee. Attach the second piece of 3/4” clear tubing 3” long to the opposite end
connection of the second 3/4” plastic tee. This will be the tubing assembly.
2. Place the fountain base on a firm and level surface where fountain will remain. Find the drain plug and insert it snugly
into the drain insert located in the fountain base. Find the pump and place it in the pump house located in the rear of the
fountain base and run the plug end of the electrical cord in the groove over the back wall.
3. Find the second shell and position it on the rear of the fountain base. Find the drain plug and insert it snugly into the
drain insert located in the second shell.
4. Find the third shell and position it on the rear of the second shell.
5. Fine the three pieces of 3/4” clear tubing 32” long.
Mark one piece of the 3/4” clear tubing on both ends with a
mark you can identify
. From the front of the fountain, insert two pieces of the 3/4” clear tubing 32” long into the hole on
the left side of the third shell
one of the pieces will be the marked piece
and push them both down into the fountain
base. Insert one pieces of the 3/4” clear tubing 32” long into the hole on the right side of the third shell and push it down
into the fountain base.
6. Place the fountain top piece on a padded surface and carefully lay it on its back. In the bottom of the fountain top
piece you will see three PVC pipe. Remove any excess concrete from around the outside of the PVC pipe.
7. Place some padding on the rear wall of the third shell to protect it from getting scratched. Place the fountain top piece
on the third shell. Tilt the fountain top piece and attach the three pieces of 3/4” clear tubing to the three PVC pipes.
Attach the piece of 3/4” clear tubing that you MARKED to the PVC pipe that is connected to the center spillway.
These three connections are hard to make. Be patient, the 3/4” clear tubing does fit on the PVC pipes.
After the connections are made remove the padding and position the fountain top piece on the third shell. When lowering
the fountain top piece make sure that the 3/4” clear tubing slides back down the hole and does not kink.
8. Find the tubing assembly. From the front of the fountain reach inside the fountain base and find the two pieces of
3/4” clear tubing on your left side. Attach the piece of 3/4” clear tubing that you marked, onto the end connection of the
3/4” plastic tee. Attach the other piece of 3/4” clear tubing onto the 3/4” plastic ell. On your right find the piece of 3/4”
clear tubing and attach it onto the middle connection of the second 3/4” plastic tee. Find the pump and move it to the right
side of the fountain turn the pump on its side with the outlet facing left and the flow control facing you. Attach the outlet of
the pump to the end connection of the second 3/4” plastic tee with the hose clamp.
9. Find the three pieces of 1” clear tubing 3” long and place them over the three PVC pipes in the fountain top piece.
This will stop the water from wobbling.
