The static flushing device

23.1 SPS 100

Fitting the static flushing device—SPS 100 pumps

The sight glass and the sight glass 
connection piece 

The tapped pump seal housing

•

The static flushing device can be fitted only to a SPS 100 pump with a pump seal housing which is
tapped to take it (arrowed). See also "Assembling the SPS 100" on page 43.

•

Pass the special L-shaped tool or a screwdriver through the top hole in the bearing housing and use
it to rotate the pump seal housing until it is central to the top hole in the bearing housing.

•

Fit the sight glass connection piece. Use a 17mm spanner to tighten it.

•

Fit the sight glass.
