4.8 Reassembling the fork leg, slider
and pumping element
ATTENZIONE
Never swap the components of one fork leg
with those of the other.
• Insert the rebound spring (
19
) in the rod of
pumping element (
18
).
• Insert pumping element (
18
) and rebound
spring (
19
) in the stanchion tube.
NOTA
In the pumping element there is a sealing
segment (
17
); before re-assembling make sure
that it is not worn or damaged. Replace if
necessary.
Take great care and if necessary use a small
flat-tip screwdriver to help the pumping element
into the stanchion tube.
• Fit foot stopper (
28
) on the end of the
pumping element rod.

4.8 Ricomposizione
stelo - portastelo - pompante
ATTENZIONE
Non montare per alcun motivo i componenti
di uno stelo nell’altro.
• Inserire la contromolla (
19
) nell’asta del
pompante (
18
).
• Inserire il pompante (
18
) e contromolla (
19
)
all’interno del tubo portante.
NOTA
Nel pompante è presente un segmento di tenuta
(
17
); prima del rimontaggio verificare che esso
non sia usurato o danneggiato; qualora sia
necessario, sostituirlo.
Prestare la massima attenzione ed
eventualmente aiutarsi con un piccolo cacciavite
a taglio per facilitare l’inserimento del pompante
nel tubo portante.
• Montare il tampone di fondo (
28
) all’estremità
dell’asta del pompante.
