6.2.1 Current Position Values
The position display shows you the current position values of
the measuring system with respect to the most recent zero
point.
Directly after switching on the PROFILER ST,
•
for all
incremental measuring systems
the position
value 0 is shown regardless of the approached position and
•
for all absolute measuring systems the position value of
the approached position is shown related to the absolute
machine zero.
At the factory, the number of decimal places is pre-config-
ured to
3 and the measuring unit to mm. You can, however,
individually adapt the number of decimal places and the mea-
suring unit to your needs.

6.2.2 General Status Display
The general status display in the right-hand, upper corner of
the touchscreen gives you information about the PROFILER ST
readiness for operation.
Green
The PROFILER ST is ready for operation.
Red
The PROFILER ST is not ready for
operation. An error code is displayed
next to the red display field.
Should the general status display be red , contact our Customer
Service Center and give the displayed error code.
