1G-15 Fuel System: LPG

7) Disconnect LPG fuel hose (1) from LPG fuel delivery 

pipe (2).

8) Disconnect LPG fuel injector connectors (3) from 

LPG fuel injectors (4).

9) Remove LPG fuel injector assembly.

Installation

Reverse removal procedure for installation noting the 
following.
• Tighten LPG fuel injector hose clamps (1) to specified 

torque.

Tightening torque
LPG fuel injector hose clamp (a):  1.4 N·m (0.14 
kgf-m, 1.0 lbf-ft)

• Check for LPG fuel leaks.

Fuel LPG Inspection

AENAR90A1706010

LPG System

Connect ohmmeter between terminals of LPG fuel 
injector and check resistance.
If resistance is out of reference value greatly, replace 
LPG fuel injector assembly.

Reference resistance of LPG fuel injector
1.19 –1.31 

Ω

 at 20 °C (68 °F)

LPG Pressure Regulator On-Vehicle Inspection

AENAR90A1706011

1) Check LPG pressure regulator for coolant leak, 

deformation and damage. If any faulty condition is 
found, replace LPG pressure regulator.

2) Check LPG pressure regulator for LPG fuel leakage. 

If faulty condition is found, replace LPG pressure 
regulator. 

)

3) Check the shut-off valve operation sound as follows.

a) Turn ignition switch to ON position.
b) Select “Forced LPG MODE” with selector switch 

and check operation sound of shut-off valve. If 
operating sound of shut-off valve is not heard, 
replace LPG pressure regulator.

4) Inspect the LPG pressure sensor as follows.

a) Turn ignition switch to OFF position and then 

connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC (1).

Special tool
(A):  SUZUKI scan tool (SUZUKI-SDT) 

b) Turn ignition switch to ON position and select 

“Forced LPG MODE” with selector switch.
