Safety Warnings
• This locomotive is to be used only with an operating
system designed for it (Märklin 6646/6647 AC transfor-
mer, Märklin Delta, Märklin Digital or Märklin Systems).
Under no circumstances should a transformer rated for
an input voltage of 220 volts be used for the 110 volts
system in North America.
• This locomotive must never be supplied with power
from more than one transformer.
• Pay close attention to the safety warnings in the
instructions for your operating system.
Operating Information
• Minimum radius required for operation:
360 mm / 14-3/16”.
• There is no provision on the ends of the train for coup-
lers, not even when using other makes of couplers!
• There can be no change in grade on curves or right
after a curve.
• Maximum change in grade between two sections of
track: 1 percent. Minimum length in the track before the
next change in the grade: 180 mm / 7-3/32”.
• Minimum spacing between adapter tracks (C to K,
C to M, etc.) and curves: 180 mm / 7-3/32”.
• Motor coach not suited for driving over curved ramp pi-
eces (7267, 74613) with a radius of 360 mm / 14-3/16”,
as there is a risk of brushing against the guard rail or
even getting caught.
The maintenance work necessary with normal operation
of this locomotive is described below. Please see your
authorized Märklin dealer for repairs or spare parts.
No warranty or damage claims shall be accepted in those cases
where parts neither manufactured nor approved by Märklin have
been installed in Märklin products or where Märklin products have
been converted in such a way that the non-Märklin parts or the
conversion were causal to the defects and / or damage arising. The
burden of presenting evidence and the burden of proof thereof,
that the installation of non-Märklin parts or the conversion in or of
Märklin products was not causal to the defects and / or damage
arising, is borne by the person and / or company responsible for
the installation and / or conversion, or by the customer.
