– If the UV light tube or the body casing looks cracked, the device must not be used.
– The UV lamp must not be used if there is a person is in the water.
– Make sure that the voltage and frequency used are in accordance with the values
specified on the label of the UV lamp.
– When installing the device, you should proceed according to the regulations for
the installation of household appliances.
– It is forbidden to pull on the connection cable. Furthermore, it is necessary to
protect the connection cable from heat, grease or sharp objects.
– Make sure that the maximum pressure created on the body casing is less than
0.3 bar.
– When the temperature of the pool water reaches 10 °C, the UV lamp must be
removed, the water must be drained and the UV lamp must be stored in a dry
place with a temperature above freezing point.
– When installing the UV lamp, do not leave it in direct sunlight - this also applies
for the entire bathing season.
– Dirt on the quartz tube will affect the efficiency of the device, and the quartz
tube must therefore be cleaned in time.
– To ensure the maximum efficiency of the device, you should replace the UV light
tube (information provided by Marimex CZ s.r.o.) after 6,000 hours of use.
– When the body casing (on the UV lamp) is contaminated with sand dirt, it can lead
to the quartz tube being destroyed.
– UV light has harmful effects on the eyes and skin. You should, therefore, not look
directly into the UV system or put your skin close to the UV system.
– When you are installing or repairing this device, the power supply of the
swimming pool must be switched off.
– The product must be installed horizontally and with the legs down. Other
installation positions are forbidden for safety reasons.
This uv lamp is an electrical device that can only be powered by a current protector
(RCD) with a breaking current of up to 10 mA.
• Components containing live components, except for components supplied with
very low power with a voltage not exceeding 12 V, must not be within reach of
persons in the pool.
• The electrical installation must comply with local and national standards.
• Components containing electrical components, other than remote controls, must
be installed or attached so that they can not fall into the pool.

In the device, there is a special lamp which emits UV radiation with a wavelength of
253.7 nm when switched on.

viruses, yeasts, and bacteria. The service life of the ultraviolet lamp is 6,000 hours.
