Configuring Video Streaming to the Web Setup
The
Video OCX Protocol
sub-menu allows you to configure the protocol that the camera
uses to stream video to the Web Setup interface.
Note:
These settings do not apply to video streaming to March Networks clients and
recorders, to RTSP-compatible media players and to third-party applications using the
ONVIF protocol.
To configure video streaming to the Web Setup
1 On the
Encoder Settings
page, click the
Video OCX Protocol
tile.
The
Video OCX Protocol
sub-menu appears.
2 Select a streaming protocol that the camera uses to stream video to the Web Setup
interface.
Options include
RTP over UDP
,
RTP over RTSP
,
RTSP over HTTP
,
MJPEG over HTTP
,
and
Multicast Mode
.
Note:
The Multicast Mode option also requires that you configure the
Address
, the
communication
Port
and the timeout interval (
TTL
) for every active encoding profile
and for the audio associated to the video stream, if present.
3 Click
Save
to save and apply changes.
