Feature Overview
Ethernet Ports, USB Ports, Video and HD Monitor Output
The unit has 2 Ethernet ports, 2 USB ports, a video output, and an HD monitor output available on the back.
Two Ethernet Ports and LEDs
There are two Gigabit Ethernet ports on RJ-45 connectors with LEDs to
indicate the status of the connection. They each provide a 10/100/1000
BaseT auto-negotiated Ethernet connection on a standard network Pinout.
The right port (0/0 Network) is the primary network port and the left port
(0/1Camera) is for IP camera networks.
Each Ethernet port has colored LEDs that indicate the connection status. Note that the Camera
Loopback Ethernet connector LEDs function the same as these two Ethernet ports.
•
Amber LED (on): A link is established but there is no activity.
•
Amber LED (off): There is no link or there is activity on the established link.
•
Green LED (on): A 1000 BaseT link is negotiated on the port.
•
Green LED (off): A 10/100 BaseT link is negotiated on the port.
Eight PoE Ethernet Ports
There are eight RJ-45 connectors with LEDs to indicate the status
of the connection. They each provide a 10/100 BaseT auto-
negotiated Ethernet connection on a standard network Pinout.
The
Camera Loopback
Ethernet connector is a 1000 Base T
Ethernet port that is connected through a short Ethernet cable to
the
0/1 Camera
Ethernet port. The
Camera Loopback
LEDs
function the same as the 0/0 Network and the 0/1Camera LEDs, as described above.
LEDs for the 8 PoE Ethernet Ports
Each Ethernet port has colored LEDs that indicate the connection and activity status:
•
Amber LED (on): A link is established but there is no activity.
•
Amber LED (off): There is no link or there is activity on the established link.
•
Amber LED (blinking): A link is established and there is data activity.
•
The 8 PoE ports use the Green LED to indicate Ethernet link status.
