Unit Setup
Turning the Unit On and Off
Before turning the unit on, first ensure that the AC power cord is plugged into the power connector
on the back of the docking station (RR model) or back plane (SR model).
The power connector is shown in section “Power Connector and Fuse Compartment” on page 23.
To turn the unit on and off

Insert the key into the lock.

Turn the key in one of the following directions:
•
Clockwise
— Turns the unit on. If the unit has a docking station, when the unit is properly
docked, the key turns easily in the lock. If the key does not turn easily, check that the unit is
docked properly and that the cover is firmly secured. Do not force the key.
•
Counter-clockwise
— Turns the unit off. If the unit has a docking station, ensure the LEDs at
the front of the unit turn off before you undock it.
Insert the key into the lock.
To turn the unit on, turn the key clockwise.
To turn the unit off, turn the key counter-clockwise.
