Vehicle set up: Close all doors, bonnet & boot, arm & disarm alarm then turn ignition on, off & on.
Feature:
Inhibit / Enable mode selection for factory remote interface inputs
Refer to Factory Remote interface (MAP function) for full details
Press the

Factory setting:
INHIBIT (1 chirp in inhibit mode, 2 chirps in enable mode)
Description:
Inhibit mode: NEG1 and NEG2 become ‘inhibit’ wires which stop the factory remote
interface from arming/disarming the alarm i.e. usually connected to the key barrel or
dash switch wires so that when the door is unlocked manually or by pressing the dash
switch it will NOT disarm the alarm.
Enable mode: POS2 input becomes an ‘enable’ wire which must receive a positive pulse
to ‘enable’ the upgrade interface to arm/disarm the system when they receive a trigger
from the door motor. This is usually connected to the indicators as they will activate only
when the factory remote is pressed.
Feature:
Installer mode
Press the

Factory setting:
SELECT the mode required
Description:
This mode allows the installer to verify that each trigger of the alarm system is working,
without having to arm and disarm the system each time and setting off the siren.
After pressing the
button 12 times to enter this mode, turn the ignition to off. The
siren will chirp and the indicators will flash to indicate a trigger e.g. push the bonnet
switch, open a door, hit the vehicle. The siren will chirp four times to indicate a shock
sensor pre-warning impact.
Feature:
Past Alarm Trigger memory
Press the
button
this many times:
13
Description:
After pressing the
button 13 times to enter this mode, turn the ignition off. The
system stores the 10 last reasons why the alarm was triggered. This memory cannot be
erased.
1 chirp, 1 flash = voltage drop trigger
2 chirp, 2 flashes = glass break sensor trigger (A5 only)
4 chirp, 4 flashes = power failure
5 chirp, 5 flashes = ignition trigger
6 chirp, 6 flashes = auxiliary trigger
7 chirp, 7 flashes = door trigger
8 chirp, 8 flashes = bonnet / boot trigger
If two previous alarms were recorded i.e. voltage drop and shock sensor the LED will
flash and the siren will chirp once for voltage drop, then no noise for one second, then
the LED will flash and the siren chirp three times for shock sensor. The last memory
heard is the most recent alarm sector triggered. Turn the ignition on and off to exit this
mode.
