Maintenance and repairs
Testing the truck crane by lifting an excessively heavy load (overload testing) is
prohibited!
This poses the risk of hidden damage that can lead to severe accidents during
subsequent crane operation. If locally applicable national regulations require the
truck crane to be tested by lifting an excessively heavy load (overload test),
always first consult
Manitowoc Crane Care
.

Maintenance intervals
Also carry out care and maintenance work carefully within the specified intervals
for your own safety. Do not postpone maintenance work that is due.
Make sure that, in addition to the maintenance intervals, the specified intervals
for periodic inspections are also observed.
The maintenance intervals required for your truck crane and the maintenance
work to be carried out are described in the supplied
maintenance manual
.
For some truck cranes, online tools or maintenance apps are also available that
allow you to individually compile the description of the maintenance work and the
spare parts and consumables required for upcoming maintenance intervals.
