Lighting
A blown bulb must be changed imme-
diately. Do not handle a new bulb with
bare or dirty fingers. Any traces of grea-
se, oil or sweat will evaporate when the
bulb is hot and stain the reflector.
Never touch or attempt to polish the
reflector. Just open the headlamp to
change the bulb.
Battery
Battery efficiency becomes progressi-
vely lower as the ambient temperature
drops, until it practically ceases to func-
tion
at -40°C.
Never attempt to use the starter motor if
the battery has been exposed to tempe-
ratures of around -29°C.
In these cases, heat the battery by
immersing it in lukewarm water to 5 cm
below the cell caps.
If the temperatures are very low, remove
the battery from the truck and store it in
a warm place until it is required.
Beleuchtung
Eine durchgebrannte Glühbirne muß
sofort ersetzt werden. Eine neue
Glühbirne nicht mit bloßen oder schmut-
zigen Händen anfassen, weil jede Spur
Fett, Öl oder Schweiß verdampft, wenn
die Glühbirne heiß wird, und der
Reflexspiegel dabei fleckig wird.
Versuchen Sie auf keinen Fall, den
Reflexspiegel anzufassen oder zu säu-
bern. Den Scheinwerfer nur öffnen, um
die Glühbirne auszutauschen.
Batterie
Die Batterieleistung sinkt mit abnehmen-
der Temperatur und ist bei -40°C prakti-
sch Null.
Lassen Sie den Anlasser nicht unnütz
laufen, wenn die Batterie Temperaturen
um -29°C ausgesetzt worden ist.
Die Batterie in diesen Fällen bis zu 5 cm
unter den Stopfen in lauwarmes Wasser
setzen. Bei sehr strengen
Minustemperaturen sollte die Batterie
ausgebaut und in beheizten Räumen
aufbewahrt werden, um dann bei der
Benutzung eingebaut zu werden.
Illuminazione
Una lampadina bruciata deve essere
immediatamente sostituita.
Non maneggiare una lampadina nuova
a mani nude o sporche, ogni traccia di
grasso, olio o sudore evapora quando la
lampadina si scalda e macchia così il
riflettore.
Non toccare mai ne tentare di lucidare il
riflettore. Aprire il faro solamente per
cambiare la lampadina.
Batteria
L’efficienza della batteria è proporziona-
le alla diminuzione della temperatura
fino a cessare praticamente a -40°C.
Non cercare di usare il motorino d’avvia-
mento se la batteria è stata esposta a
temperature attorno a - 29°C.
Riscaldare in questi casi la batteria,
immergendola in acqua tiepida fino a 5
cm al di sotto dei tappi.
In caso di temperature molto basse, riti-
rare la batteria dal carrello e conservarla
in un ambiente caldo fino al momento di
utilizzarla.
